STILL HOLDING ON!

Memory made manifest, keys to old family homes in occupied Palestine are passed down from one generation to the next; but to call them symbols would be to strip them of their essential attribute, which is their ability to open doors closed decades ago, doors to houses perhaps demolished, but whose inhabitants, in a sense, live in them still.
