Racist America

Editorial:

by Housewife4Palestine

I find it appalling in our modern society that from history we have not yet learned how to act towards other people. I am not saying all people are like this by any means.

For example today, I had to take my husband to work, for he has not yet learned how to drive himself. On my way home a woman went out of her way even to the point of breaking traffic laws with the attempt to side swipe me only because I am different then her. What makes it so terrible is I wouldn’t have harmed her.

This woman was driving a late model green metallic pick-up, dressed like she worked either in a nursing home or a hospital. She is suppose be the model to help people not destroy them. But yet, in a country as vast as American when are people going to learn to be tolerant of people not like themselves. There is suppose to be equal rights in this country but yet, some people chose to break these laws at any given moment.

America is a melting pot country, but yet there are people in this country that seem to forget tolerance and appreciation of people’s differences. For this they are the losers not the people that are being mistreated.

There is organizations in this country that their only agenda is hate with the over shadow of pure racism, we are now in the beginnings of the twenty first century when are people going to learn to except and appreciate not only what they have but the world around them? That umbrella of darkness that they live under they really need to throw it down and look at the sunshine.

Groups that have been subjected to racism in America for example is the Native American’s, Black people, Immigrants and now Muslims, what I tend to wonder if the shoe was on the other foot and these people full of hated was subjected to what they are doing to other’s how would they feel?

Note:

What the Ku Klux Klan, is now is nothing what was originally by the founders, if the original people who started the Ku Klux Klan knew what the Klan had became they would have turned over in their grave several times.

Original Inception of the Klan:

The Klan's first incarnation was in 1866. Founded by veterans of the Confederate Army, its main purpose was to resist Reconstruction, and it focused as much on intimidating "carpetbaggers" and "scalawags."
