Salat (Prayer) For Palestine

You may put us in exile
Murder our families
Make our relatives cry in our soul
But you will never
Take our dreams
From within our hearts.

You may up root our trees
That took hundred’s of years to grow
So we starve
But you will never
Take our hope
That lives within our thoughts.

You may put us in prison
Torture us to almost death
But we will not die
For we will never
Let you win!

Palestine lives in our soul
Like our ancestors before us
But we will be strong
For you will never
Last in Allah’s eyes!
