Stocks slip on rate, profit worries

Jun. 6 - The Dow and the Nasdaq closed lower for the third session in a row as investors fret rising interest rates will crimp corporate profits.

The Dow lost 46 points to 11,002.

The Nasdaq slipped 6 points to 2,162.

Crude oil prices dipped 10 cents to $72.50 per barrel.
