Death Grows as Israel Scavengers their Way across Northern Gaza
An injured Palestinian man is brought to the Kamal Edwan hospital, following a helicopter missile attack by Israeli forces in Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip. I am curious what you think would have been a proper response from Israel over the kidnapping of the soldier? One that would have been both a correct response and one that would be most effective in obtaining his release? We see that even this aggressive response has not resulted in the release of the soldier. Do you think a lesser response would have been more effective?
Israel should have listened to the demands towards the solider especially with the release of so many women and children being held in Israeli Prison’s. Many are there as kidnapped victim’s themselves.
Also, I am yet to understand what crime a small child could commit, to be forced to live in a prison with unsavory conditions.
If the kidnapper’s had been in the same frame of mind that Israel is in right now, after the deadline the solider would be laying in the road with a bullet in his head; just like the settler a few days before.
It has more come out that the Israeli invasion into Gaza and the West Bank was not due to the kidnapping of an Israeli solider, but to topple the Hamas government.
In thinking of a lesser response, normally would have been the correct way to go. An offensive where there is large amounts of destruction and loss of life is never exceptionable and the Israeli’s are being bombarded for going against the Geneva Convention on this; they have chosen to disregard this too.
A peaceful solution with negotiating, long with give and take is always the way to go; war is never a solution but to make a festering sore more infected.
Thanks for the response. I keep listening, reading and asking trying to determine what is what. Your answers are a big help.
AICS, you are very welcome and I am so happy to be able to help you.
Please never hesitate to ask, when you need information.
I wish more people were like you that are willing to listen and learn.
