Four Israeli soldiers killed Friday morning; 3 injured in Hezbollah attack on tank
Bethlehem - Ma'an - Four Israeli soldiers have been killed on Friday morning, and a further three injured, when Hezbollah destroyed an Israeli tank in south Lebanon. This raises the Israeli soldiers' death toll, since Thursday, to seven, with four injured.
The Israeli army admitted on Thursday evening that one of its soldiers was killed and two injured, during battles with Hezbollah, at the Lebanese village of At Tis.
Earlier on Thursday afternoon, three Israeli soldiers were killed when an anti-tank missile struck their vehicle, killing two and seriously injuring a third who later died of his wounds at an Israeli hospital.
In related news, nine Israelis were killed, including three Arabic citizens of Israel, from the village of Tarshiha, and a further six Israelis from Acre, were killed as a result of rockets that Hezbollah had launched towards northern Israel. 60 further injuries were reported from the Hezbollah attacks.
