Israeli bulldozers demolish a house in east Jerusalem

Jerusalem - Ma'an – On Wednesday, Israeli bulldozers demolished the home of Ahmed Zhaikh in Jabal Al Mukaber, a Palestinian neighbourhood southeast of the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

The Ma'an correspondent in Jerusalem reported that Jerusalem police attacked the home owners and a number of other citizens on the scene. They fired tear gas to disperse the crowd that was trying to prevent the demolition of the house.

Two young men were arrested, Wi'am and Haitham Zhaikh. Haitham is the son of the owner of the house.
