To begin with, I am a woman or a Muslimah.

It has been in debate for centuries to the age of Ishmael when Abraham took his wife and son to Saudi Arabia. Myself, I tended to think he was more of a child then just a mere baby.

While you could very well be right as to him actually being a young man, I am not going to agree or disagree because you could very well be correct.

One thing people have acquired over time is with translations and oral traditions other then understanding the original language of text is it tends to be interpreted wrong, which is a major debate even today especially with the current upheavals.

As for Ishmael’s parentage, he was the first-born son and by custom was to inherit all from his father; but again Judeo/Christians because of mistakes again say you are wrong, as they have done me. Due to the fact, they have the understanding that Hagar was a slave and nothing more, which is a misunderstanding on their part I am sorry to say due to the customs.

In my understanding and I may be wrong here is that Sarah because of her being upset in taking so long to have Isaac was jealous of Hagar and did not wish Ishmael to be heir, especially when she was found in her advanced age to be with child.

There are other issues that could come up for debate but it would be very lengthy, but the bottom line is your are correct in you assumptions and the Jewish populace invaded Palestine now two times. Yet, I tend to wonder over time if this is why they have had problems different times in their history namely being taken into different form of slavery themselves. Main reason I say this, is that they even admit in their text they had failings that Allah did not approve of.
