Al-Khalil - IOF troops on Saturday arrested the photographer Abdul Hafeez Al-Hashlamon, the AP photographer, in Al-Khalil city for filming their savage beating of a Palestinian civilian in the city's old town.

Colleagues of the arrested photographer said that he was filming the Israeli soldiers' savage beating of 26-year-old Antar Al-Baradi who fainted after the incident. The soldiers prevented citizens from extending first aid to Baradi and fired teargas canisters at the civilians.

Witnesses said that Baradi's brother tried to help but the soldiers arrested both of them.

Meanwhile, in occupied Jerusalem, witnesses said that Israeli occupation police arrested a number of school students in the holy city.

They added that the students were marching in protest against the Israeli excavations at the Aqsa Mosque when the soldiers attacked them with bullets, sonic bombs and teargas canisters wounding a number of them. The witnesses could not give the exact number of those arrested.
