Arendt Manuscripts Being Translated into Persian For First Time
TEHRAN -- Ezzatollah Fuladvand is to undertake the first translation and publication ever made of some of the manuscripts of the German political philosopher Hannah Arendt.
“A large number of her manuscripts which are kept in the U.S. Library of Congress have not yet been published and I have selected some of them. Although Arendt was German, she wrote in English and so my task involves editing her articles and translating them into Persian,” he told CHN.
Fuladvand will start working on Arendt’s manuscripts after the completion of his current translation of a book written by the Lithuanian philosopher Sir Isaiah Berlin.
