VIDEO - The Islamic Jihad arrested a Palestinian who, according to the organization, collaborated with the IDF and was involved in the assassination of group members.
In a video obtained by Ynet on Thursday, the man is seen taking off his IDF uniform and entering the Gaza Strip.
F, 37, from the central Strip, got off an IDF jeep in the Israeli side of the border, changed into civil clothes, and climbed the fence on his way back into the Strip.
Islamic Jihad officials said that immediately after he entered the Palestinian territory, he was arrested by members of the al-Quds Brigades, the organization's military wing, who had been watching him.
The sources claimed that he had confessed to being an Israeli agent and he told them he had spent the night at an IDF base in the area, where he met with an intelligence officer.
An organization member told Ynet that the "collaborator" admitted that he had recruited several other Palestinians to work for Israel. He also said that F admitted to smuggling vehicles from Israel into the Gaza Strip.
The Islamic Jihad is looking into the possibility that one of the smuggled vehicles was used a car bomb, which exploded in the Zeitun neighborhood and killed one of the organization's prominent commanders, Ra'ed Fanuna, on his way to work.
