The Bush administration has blacklisted as a "foreign terrorist organisation" an Islamic group blamed for major fighting at a refugee camp in Lebanon.

Fatah al-Islam becomes the 43rd group on the list, meaning that its members are barred from US soil, its assets are frozen in US jurisdictions, and it becomes illegal for US citizens to provide it with cash or support.
