Israeli Soldiers Occupy Family Home Near Salfit

Nablus – Ma'an – Approximately 50 Israeli troops occupied a residential building in the West Bank town of Marda, near Salfit early Sunday morning, using the home as a makeshift watchtower.

Local residents said the soldiers stormed the house at dawn, forcing the family of six to crowd into one room and remain there.

After a confrontation between with the residents of the neighborhood, the soldiers were forced to withdraw from the area. The soldiers used sound bombs to disperse the Palestinians who approached them.
