Hosseini blasts desecration of holy Quran by US troops

Tehran-Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini on Monday lambasted the US troops for setting a holy Quran on fire in Afghanistan.

He expressed outrage at desecration of the holy book by the US troops in Afghanistan and that the action has injured sentiments of the Muslims across the world.

Hosseini called all Islamic nations, their governments and the Organization of the Islamic Countries (OIC) to express their hatred over the heinous act of US occupiers in dealing with the Islamic sanctities.
