Egypt releases 33 Palestinians

Released Palestinian prisoners are greeted by relatives after crossing the Rafah border point into the Gaza Strip following their release from an Egyptian jail on March 23, 2008.

Egypt on Sunday released 33 Palestinians, who had been detained after crossing from the Gaza Strip.
"They have been released and have just crossed into the Gaza Strip from Rafah," the official said.
There is still 6 Palestinians, being held in Egypt.
The Palestinian prisoners suffered all sorts of torture. Those who have been freed have given accounts of being tortured and of interrogations, which have nothing to do with the security of Egypt," said an undisclosed Palestinian.
