Norway Helping Iraqi Children

Norwegian Secretary of State Raymond Johansen, (L) leaves an educational resource center for Iraqi refugee children, on April 7, 2008 on the outskirts of Beirut, near the Burj el-Barajneh Palestinian refugee camp.

The center which has been operating since September of last year is funded by the Norwegian Refugee Council and aims to provide Iraqi refugee children in the country with educational and psycho-social support.
