Prostesting Wildcat Settlements

Jewish forces prevent peace activists from protesting against the expansion of Jewish settlements in the West Bank on 24 April 2008 at the Jewish wildcat outpost of Yad Yair, near the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Some 50 Palestinians and Jewish demonstrators briefly took control of the wildcat settlement, empty of settlers, as there is no permanent housing, and were later dispersed by the Jewish forces.

One Jew and two Palestinian protesters were arrested, an AFP correspondent at the scene reported.
According to Jewish anti-settlement Peace Now movement, there are some 100 wildcat outposts in the West Bank.

Without these protestor’s doing what they did today, it is thought that Jewish Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is trying to rectify some of these problems and it is also understood that all new housing in Palestine is to be for all Palestine’s citizens.

Furthermore, the leadership of the Palestine legal government is also doing what is necessary for the sake of all Palestine.

People need to remember, Palestine went through a long war and since it is now over and Palestine is going through a reconstruction phase for the hope of all Palestine’s citizens, that people would be patient, for the utmost betterment for all Palestine is being done as fast and with the equality of everyone in mind.

Finally, some of what people see today, that is a hangover from the war that the scares would eventually disappear from Palestine’s soil.
