The Bedouin Celebrate the Nakba

Bedouin Palestinian women cook traditional food during celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the 'Nakba' (catastrophe) on 13 May 2008.

I do not know if it still is, but many of us when we where children wished to be like the Bedouin, I think it goes along with some children in America wishing to live and be like John Wayne or Davy Crockett in the Old West, years ago.

Many Palestinians, myself included, use to look up to the Bedouin and had great respect for their way of life, as well as we see them as free people.

Furthermore, something I always admired about these people is the fact, that if one is crossing the desert and finds they need help, to always go to the Bedouin, for they would give one the up most of hospitality.

Nevertheless, when the 'Nakba' (catastrophe) occurred, in some manner every Palestinian was affected.
