Bush Additional Funds for Foreign Food Aid
Washington-U.S. President George W. Bush addresses reporters on 1 May 2008 in White House Diplomatic Reception Room, to ask Congress to provide an additional $770 million to support food aid and development programs.The $770 million would be in addition to the $200 million in emergency food aid announced by the White House two weeks ago to be available through a program at the U.S. Agricultural Department called the Emerson Trust.
