Olmert 'the due responsibility and care' Over Syria

Jewish Prime Minister Ehud Olmert leans over to listen to Transport Minister Shaul Mofaz, at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting 25 May 2008 in Jerusalem.

Olmert said, that the negotiations with Syria would be conducted with 'the due responsibility and care,' and that Israel must not let excitement over talks with Damascus affect its judgement.

On Olmert’s talks with Syria, some believe it is going well, while others have suggested that Olmert has been a bit to demanding.

As for military maneuvers in the Golan Heights these days, many are questioning this action as not necessarily a positive one.
