Jewish troops shot dead a man from Mahmoud Abbas’s terrorist organization at a roadblock in the occupied West Bank on suspicions that he was carrying a bomb, military sources said.

The man approached a checkpoint near Nablus in a 'suspicious way,' which caused the soldiers to believe he was armed with explosives, one source said.

The suspect ignored orders to stop and the troops opened fire killing him, the sources added.

Sources later reported that the man was carrying a bomb and had attempted to detonate it, when he was shot.
