Calatrava Bridge Inaugurated In Jerusalem

The sun sets behind the Chords Bridge, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, during the inauguration of the bridge 25 June 2008 at the entrance to Jerusalem.

The bridge has a mast rising 118 meters and uses 70 cables to hold up a suspended span of 140 meters that will carry a light train transportation system, as well as a glass walkway for pedestrians.
