Iran-Palestine-Health Ministers Iran's health minister Dr. Kamran Lankarani expressed the country's readiness to provide medical and health assistance for Palestinians.

In a meeting with his Palestinian counterpart, the Iranian minister also said Iran is ready to hold training courses for Palestinian medical staff, admit and treat Palestinian patients in Iran.

Expressing Iranian sympathy for Palestinians and condemning invasion and barbarism of the Zionist occupiers, Dr. Lankarani called for more attention and help from the Muslim countries for the engulfed Palestinians.

Criticizing the inhuman behavior of the Western governments to sever help to Palestinian people after the victory of Hamas, the Palestinian health minister asked for immediate medical and treatment assistance for Palestinians.

Referring to the Zionist regime's efforts to obtain licence for joining the David Red Star Society to the Red Crescent Society and the Red Cross, the minister called for all Muslim countries' opposition to the request.

He expressed hope that at the end of his visit to Iran and signing MoU with Iranian officials, the Palestinian people can enjoy Iranians' humanitarian help.
