It must be brought to your attention especially with the Ninth Ward that the greatest devastation from hurricane Katrina hit here.

While my home was completely destroyed in another part of the city, when I drove to see it that Tuesday with my husband my heart was broken just to see how bad our neighborhood was hit and with much hope that the wonderful people I knew was still alive. For many that did not leave before this fateful event.

I am happy to say the people I knew still are.

I had heard so much about the Ninth Ward, that with this documentary, we can have a glimpse of how bad it really was for these people and how much my heart goes out to them.

New Orleans was a beautiful city and I have to admit I met some of the kindest people there and some day I wish with Allah’s blessing to return; to go on with the life my husband and I intended the day we was married.
