Nablus-Ma'an-Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) member, Sheikh Hamid Al-Betawi and head of Palestine Scholars League, has condemned the Arab silence towards the escalation of Israeli force attacks against Palestine and Lebanon. In a statement on Saturday, Sheikh Hamid also condemned those Arab countries that had criticised, what he called, " the honorable operations that Hezbollah has started."

In related news, the Palestinian National Initiative has condemned the continuous Israeli aggression against Gaza and Lebanon, saying that they viewed this action as a clear violation of international human rights and humanitarian law, especially the Fourth Geneva Convention.

In Nablus, the Center for the Right to Repatriation and Refugees Affairs called on the nations of the world, both states and civil society, to support the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. In a statement, they asked that the conditions under which Palestinians are currently living, which include the lack of power and water supply and a serious shortage of food, be communicated to the peoples of the world.
