Kindness

Kindness is an attitude shown towards others. Kindness is an elixir to get rid off all the evil feelings against each other. It is kindness that determines the character of an individual. Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) was an excellent epitome of Kindness. A true Muslim must always be kind towards others. Even if anyone is not treating him well, he must treat him kindly. Kindness is a weapon which can win hearts. The purity of heart is more important than the purity of words. Even while praying, it is not words which count, but our hearts which must be true and devoted to Almighty Allah.

Kindness must be shown to all, and not only to our relatives and friends. A kind-hearted person will always be in one’s good books whereas a hard-hearted or a cruel person, through his unkind behaviour is likely to open a can of worms for himself. The holy Quran, while describing the importance of kindness, also warns us against hypocrisy. Some people only pretend to be kind, but they are not true in their hearts.
