Olmert Time to Go?
August 25, 2006
Jerusalem - Ma'an - A group of Israeli reservists and bereaved families demonstrated in Jerusalem on Friday, calling for the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to resign.
According to an Israeli radio station, protesters headed from the district of Rehovot in Jerusalem to the Herzl cemetery where former Israeli Prime Minister, Golda Meir, is buried.
The demonstrators included people who lost family members during Israel's war on Hezbollah and a large number of reservists who voiced their dissatisfaction with the leadership, training and equipment they received during the war.
They called on Olmert to follow Golda Meir's example following the 1973 war and resign.
