Kabaha: Israel to release all minors, female prisoners
Ramallah - The PA minister of prisoners' affairs, Wasfi Kabaha, announced on Monday that the Israeli government had agreed to release all Palestinian female prisoners along with all those under 18 years old in addition to 150 sick inmates.
Kabaha added in a press release that negotiations are currently underway on an exchange plan in which the Palestinian factions would free the captured IOF soldier in return for around 1,500 Palestinian internees including 120 females, 350 minors and 150 sick inmates in addition to all those who served more than 20 years behind occupation bars.
The minister said that the Palestinian factions tabled the names of a number of leaders to be included in the swap deal such as Marwan Al-Barghouthi, Ahmed Saadat, Abdul Khaleq Al-Natshe, Abbas Al-Sayed and Jamal Abul Haija. He added that conditions were also tabled that would improve incarceration conditions of Palestinian prisoners in all occupation jails.
