I look and what do I see
A prison of bars,
Of walls
Of barbed wire.
We are a people locked and torn
With spines of iron
For we are tortured
And murdered.
You will not see us mourn
You will not see us cry
For we will never bend
Standing tall
To break the yoke
Of oppression.

great to find your blog. may I ask you some questions?
Do you live in the states?
May I ask questions about your view on Israel?
your view on Christians?
thanks, I would love to know your thoughts.
Mike,
I am happy you found my blog too.
I never give out my location for two reason’s, one I am Palestinian and two I am Muslim which these days is not safe for me.
I do not agree with Israel’s policies and their theft and aggression against the Palestinian people.
I have nothing against Christians as a whole; I actually have friends that are Christians.
Your welcome, what other information would you wish to know?
Well, I understand your concern and highly sympathize with you. Would you send me your e-mail please ... I'd like to exchange some thoughts with you. NO bashing, please don't worry AT ALL .. we have the same religion!
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! :-)
I love munich,
I not know how to get to you address?
I would be happy to converse with you.
thanks for your answers. as you know, you don't have to worry about us Christians. Most of us who love our Lord love those around us as well. I am simply isolated in Texas and unable to connect with Muslims who would help me understand their views. I will keep in touch, if you don't mind, and ask questions as they come up.
I have met a lot of peace loving Muslims who simply want to have a good life, love their families and get along with their neighbors, but all we hear about are the "radical" muslims. There is an overaching sense that there are peace loving people of faith in the Muslim faith, but Islam itself is not a peaceful faith. This comment comes from my own reading of the Koran and other things I can read online. If wrong, please help me with that.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to help me understand.
Mike,
I may ask some things of you so we both understand the two sides of the situation, if this is ok and please do not think I am insulting you in any way.
As you know Christianity, Judaism and Islam are like cousins so there is much alike between the three religions.
While you say some of us are “radical’s,” I am sorry to say we are seeing some of the same problem on your side and this troubles me greatly from what I know of Christianity.
Something I do not understand, is why Christianity for sometime has waged war against us and with the propaganda it seems to make many in the West look at most of us as the bad guys, when we are having the same problem in your direction?
For you to understand, we believe that the whole world should be at peace among all people regardless of religion and that all people should have prosperity, so that they do not hunger, do not suffer in any manner.
In addition, I think the problem is we do not understand each other in our ways of thinking because I have learned this is vastly different and as for learning the Quran and Islam as a whole, we do teach absolute peace and love for all of humanity as well as equality for all people.
There is web sites online that are actually anti-Islamic so please be careful, some do not hide they are like this and some attempt to hide this fact. I tell you this to help you.
I will help you and hopefully you help me to bridge this problem because I am thinking that you like myself do not wish what is happening in the world.
Please also excuse some of my limitations; I may have in English sometimes.
