Glimpse at Childhood

A Palestinian boy showing his drawing depicting scenes from his life: A tank firing.

Palestinian adolescents on the streets of Gaza City, pretending to be freedom fighters.

A Palestinian child’s drawing of life in an occupied land.

Is this the world you would wish, for your children?
We do not either!

GREAT POST!!! Children MUST be allowed to be children and enjoy safety, security, good education, nutritious food. All these kids who draw these kind of pictures are traumatized for decades to come - mostly without any professional help to overcome the pain!

My love and heart is with these kids who's childhood is robbed ... by the occupation and lately as well by the most STUPID and IRRESPONSIBLE action: Palestinian infighting thus killing one another!!

Thanks so much for highlighting the suffering of those who are all our future ... children!!!

I love Munich,

Your very welcome about the post. As for being children it is bad growing up in a war, but it isn’t always as bad mentally as people think. The main reason I think is we tend to be mentally stronger then a lot of people may think.

Like me being a mother, I would rather my children grow up and me happy not living in this kind of situation , as well as most Mother’s in Palestine.

As for the fighting between Hamas and Fatah, while in many ways I agree, but the blame for the start of the fighting is on Fatah., all because they lost the election. And turned traitor.
