Medical Care Post Katrina

Introduction

Medical Conditions in New Orleans, Louisiana is reminiscent of a fourth world country.

Four hospitals are still closed.

If you want decent medical for life threatening conditions, New Orleans is better said that you are better off buying a cemetery plot then seeking health care from medical staff that is more in toon to the three stooges.

Noah Morris, a volunteer medic and cofounder of the Common Ground Health Clinic, talks about the health care situation in New Orleans and his work in the 9th Ward.
