One Day in Dora

(AP Photo/Nasser Shiyoukhi)

Palestinians carry an injured youth during clashes with Israeli soldiers in Dora village near the West Bank town of Hebron, Tuesday May 17, 2005.

The clashes erupted when IOF troops entered the town searching for what they said was “a wanted militant.”

Two Palestinians were injured by rubber bullets fired by soldiers.

Note:
The village of Dora before the Israeli occupation, was a resort location for some of the most prestigious Palestinian families.

This village was so highly regarded, that some of the descendants of these families gave the nickname of “Dora,” to some of their children; instead of saying Habibi (beloved).
