Israeli Troops Kidnap 6 Residents In Nablus

RAMALLAH, Palestine, September 25, 2007 (IPC+ Agencies) -Israeli occupation army kidnapped six Palestinians in Nablus today. One of the men, a member of the Al Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, is thought to be on the Israeli's "most-wanted" list.

The man, Zahy Zuhier, was besieged in his home by IOF special troops before IOF vehicles advanced deep into the area and used heavy gunfire and explosives in the operation to capture him.

In the same operation, IOF troops kidnapped five Palestinians from Balata refugee camp and Beit Iba. The kidnapped men were later identified as Imad Walwel, Mo'taz Sama'enah, Mohammad Qabala, Ja'far Thulth and Ala' Al Nijmi.

Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday morning advanced deep into Rumana village, located west of Jenin, targeting the home of an Islamic Jihad member Ameed Amoor, 22.

His family reported that they were forced to leave the home and interrogated for several hours.

In a separate invasion, the Israeli occupation army kidnapped 3 Palestinians on a flying checkpoint, located west of Jenin city, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Eyewitnesses reported that the kidnapped Palestinians were handcuffed and forced into an Israeli patrol vehicle, after which they were taken to an unknown destination.
