Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti, jailed in Israeli for his part in terror attacks during the second intifada, wrote a letter set to be read out at a Peace Now rally in Rabin Square Tuesday.
In the letter, he calls for peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
"I, Marwan Barghouti, am telling you that I and the majority of the Palestinian people are ready for a historic agreement based on international decisions that will allow a Palestinian and Israeli state to coexist, side by side, in peace and stability," Barghouti wrote in the letter.
The letter will be read by former PA official Kadura Fares at the peace rally commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Peace Now movement.

One thing I must admit about Fatah, they must have a good activist tourist services going or something that looks more like the bright lights of Las Vegas, because it is always amazing how activist seem to be drawn to these people thinking they are the voice of Palestine, when they are the enemies of the country and have been for thousands of years.
As for the majority of activist that think they are associated with peace or some other agenda for Palestine has no idea of what the country is about and never has. From the ones I have personally had to deal with, they are more in tune to the propaganda then the truth and as for meeting the real inhabitant’s of Palestine, this they are sorely lacking.
As for any association with Marwan Barghouti, this is not surprising because these activists as I have said previously are drawn to these terrorist and are solely blinded by the truth. Furthermore, I am wondering if this is also another attempt by Barghouti to secure his release from prison, which he is exactly where he needs to be.
The majority of activist that have claimed peace for Palestine can not see the forest for the tree’s, it is tended to be thought they are filled with the lies told about the previous war and with Fatah’s propaganda still believe the war is occurring. Also, this little bit of propaganda is reinforced in Western propaganda.
So the bottom line of carrying weight, Barghouti as well as Peace Now, would have better luck getting the Camel through and eye of a needle, then proving a straw of legitimacy. For how can one say they seek peace in a country that is no longer at war and is making every effort to rebuild for a peaceful country, with people like Fatah terrorist organization yet to try an reestablish what some of the elements that would reignite a war or caused it to happen in the first place?
For the real citizens of Palestine, we do not wish this strife or another war.
