A Double Palestinian Wedding

Relatives dance in front of (L-R) Palestinian bride Arej Ra'i, 22, her groom Mahmoud Mansor, 29, his brother Mohammad Mansor, 24, and his bride Samar Abu Armana, 22, during their wedding reception 19 May 2008 in the Rafah refugee camp, Gaza Strip.

During the traditional celebration, the Mansor brothers were led by friends and family through the town to the houses of their brides' families and then brought their brides to their new homes.
Palestinian bride Samar Abu Armana, 22, is led by her groom Mohammad Mansor, 24, from her family's home to her husband's new home.

Palestinian weddings are usually lavish and can take a year or months of parties and other preparations before the final day of the wedding comes.
Palestinian refugee brothers Mahmoud Mansor, 29, (C) and Mohammad Mansor, 24, (2ed-R) are led by their friends after they prepared at their friend's home before their wedding party.

Furthermore, with much excitement for family and friends of the wedding couple, along with much traditional dancing and one must never forget the food and sweets.
The aunt of Palestinian refugee brothers Mahmoud Mansor, 29, (C) and Mohammad Mansor, 24, (R) dances in front of them as they attend their wedding reception.

Furthermore, the bride, always has to find that perfect dress, for the day, she will remember forever.

I do not know if other parts of the world does this, but Palestinians may find there dream husband or wife when the are about twelve or so because they are usually someone they know or someone they wish to know one day, because of good qualities and then wish for the day that they will marry that special person.

While others search to find, that hopefully perfect person after they are in their twenties, because this when Palestinians usually are married under normal circumstances.

Mashaallah, the wedding couples, have a long life together and always be happy, with many blessed children.
