According to Jewish law, every naturally-born first-born child who is male belongs to God, and his parents should 'redeem' him by making a symbolic payment to a Cohen, a Jewish man descended from the first Jewish priest Aaron, the brother of Moses.

Not just through Moses, but my very great uncle Isaac is actually the ancestry of this baby; which to my understanding would be a cousin for me and I wish this baby to have many blessings within, there life.

Something that has always been strange for me since I was born Muslim as well as those before me on one side of a family, that because of the way Allah did things for a particular reason; that a family would be split between two religions.

While it is historical fact of why this happened, even though the generations, it still give’s many thoughts.

Furthermore from my understanding, while both Judaism and Islam, prayed for my birth; that both celebrated, when I was born.

Nevertheless, while I will admit I do not fully understand yet everything that has been said to me, that a person that was born in the manner that has been brought to my attention; that in a manner of speaking, I may very well be walking within these two religions, possibly more. Because, if I am the person that everyone keeps insisting I am, this type of person for lack of a better word is universal. -HRM Deborah
