Iran President felicitates leaders of Islamic states on Eid al-Fitr

Tehran-President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cabled separate messages on Tuesday to heads of the Islamic states felicitating them on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

Eid al-Fitr, a major Islamic festivity, is manifestation of spirituality, belief in God, and perfection of human beings, he said in the message.

President Ahmadinejad expressed hope that Islamic countries would forge unity and enjoy blessings of the Almighty God on this occasion.

He also prayed to God for dignity and prosperity of the Islamic Ummah.
