Palestinians Honor Palestinian Prime Minister Haniyeh

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh arriving to give a talk and shake a few hands, during a mass prayer on the first day of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr, on September 30, 2008; in Gaza City.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting during which Muslims tend to spend much time in celebration, prayers, visiting martyrs graves usually family or other loved ones such as friends, visiting with much special foods to eat, also the wearing of new clothes and the giving of gifts especially of charity to the poor such as clothing, money and food.

Eid al-Fitr is one of those times, when Muslims share gifts and other wonderful things with love and friendship towards neighbors; regardless of who they maybe.

I wish to say, I am thinking of everyone this Eid and wish everyone in and out of Palestine the very best; with many blessings.

I also wish to extend a very happy Rosh Hashanah to the Jewish people, which started at sundown in Palestine and for everyone no matter where you may be. -
