Laura Bush Lost in New Orleans?

Laura Bush to visit New Orleans today

New Orleans-First Lady Laura Bush is visiting the Gulf Coast to meet with volunteers in New Orleans and rally support for Mississippi Republicans on Tuesday's ballot.

Bush is scheduled to speak at a rally Thursday in Gulfport for Sen. Roger Wicker, who is running against Democrat Ronnie Musgrove. Republican Gov. Haley Barbour also is expected to attend.

Before she travels to Mississippi, Bush is scheduled to award grants from her foundation at 11:20 a.m. at John Dibert Elementary School, 4217 Orleans Ave., and then meet with leaders and volunteers from Operation Helping Hands at 12:20 p.m. at 2032 St. Roch Ave.
