Daylight for a Future

(In Memory of Anna 1992-2006)

by Housewife4Palestine

I stand tall
Looking at the beauty before me
Never looking at the past
For the sorrow is but a memory
Broken of chains
As the heartache fades
To yesterday
I almost feel
Like a child seeing daylight
For the very first time.

Note:

There are many roads we can take in this life, a very straight road that has the most beauty at the end of it which as we walk along this road in our life some people think it is a hard road; but I have to admit it carries many tests with the greatest of rewards.

Then there are those people that think they are taking the easy road with all the sensual pleasures in this life with the quick money not realizing that the payment on this toll road is more then they can afford-think about it?

My friend in the short time she lived for she passed away recently, traveled the first road and I am happy to always say she was my friend.

One of the finest things she did for me personally was save my life in 1997. And even her passing, she is helping me make one of the biggest decisions in my life.

Thank you Allah for her being on this earth even if it was for a very short time. Jazakallah

And for those whose faces will become white, they will be in Allah’s Mercy (paradise), therein they shall dwell forever.
(سورة آل عمران , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter 3:107)

وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ ابْيَضَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فَفِي رَحْمَةِ اللّهِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
