Bethlehem-Ma'an- Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, delivered a live speech through Al-Manar satellite news channel.

He started by saluting “the resistance fighters, the martyrs, the injured people and everyone who has supported the resistance in the war against Israel.” He portrayed the end of the war as a historical strategic victory of Lebanon and the Arab and Muslim nation.

Nasrallah also greeted the displaced, referring to huge destruction the Israeli aggression caused to private houses, which according to him is even more important than the massive damage to infra-structure. He thanked the Lebanese government and the humanitarian organizations which took part in easing the suffering of the displaced. On behalf of the resistance, he promised to offer a decent sum of money to those who lost their houses in order to enable them buy new houses and rent houses temporarily.

Regarding the rumors about the future of the armed resistance, he said that he didn't want to discuss it while the fighters are still in the midst of fierce battles.

He expressed disappointment with some Lebanese ministers who leaked the dialogue that had been held inside the government to the press, saying that their mistake came with very inappropriate timing.

Nasrallah asked: "What did those who talk about disarming the Lebanese resistance do to make them feel they can talk? Did they free Sheb'a farms? Or did they bring the Lebanese detainees home? What can they say to the people of south Lebanon who lost their loved ones and their homes? Even the Israeli enemy hasn't called for disarmament of the resistance,” so he advised to avoid provocation on that point.

Secretary general called every Lebanese to volunteer.
