Palestinian doctors: IOF troops use hard-to-detect weapons against Palestinians

November 26, 2006

Gaza - Palestinian doctors in Gaza hospitals have accused the IOF troops of using internationally-banned weapons that are hard to be detected in the X-ray and eventually lead to the victim's death.

Head of the public relations department in the Gaza-based Shifa hospital Dr. Juma'a Al-Sakka affirmed that amputation on wounded Palestinians was on the rise as a result of those weapons.

He added that bodies of tens of Palestinian victims have arrived to hospital severed limbs; yet, he noted, "Whenever a wounded Palestinian starts to recover, he, mysteriously, dies afterwards, which indeed confuses our doctors".

The IOF troops killed and wounded close to 2,000 Palestinian citizens, mostly civilians, since June this year. Tens of wounded Palestinians became permanently disabled as a result of those globally-banned Israeli weapons.
