Israeli interrogators assault Palestinian captive with chains

Occupied Jerusalem - Israeli interrogators at the Ma'aleh Adomim settlement detention centre near occupied Jerusalem subjected a Palestinian captive to sever torture to extract confessions from him.

Hakam Abu Roumi, 18 years, from the Eizareyyah village was beaten by the interrogators with chains. He was also forced to take off his clothes and stand under the rain in very cold weather to make him confess to certain accuasations.

A statement by the press office of the captives of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued on Saturday said that Roumi was arrested three days ago at his home where IOF soldiers beat him in front of his family.
