Recession or Great Depression?
by HRH Deborah
When the United States had a Depression in the 1930’s, the government at that time kept telling the American public they were in a recession and that ‘prosperity was just around the corner.’
While the understanding was that economist, came foreword and called the harrowing financial situation at the time by what it really was a ‘Depression.’
While the Unites States in their attempt to try to safeguard this ever happening again with such things as insurance on banks, give or take 70 years later they are at this crossroads again.
The only difference, is the recovery for that country, may very well be on the brink of no chance to recover, especially with the International Bank no longer giving the United States funds and the bills are rolling in on billion dollar debts.
What makes a wonder, is the American government still feels they can spend money they certainly do not have, as the citizens of the United States is being forced to split the cost in higher the normal costs of living.
While the United States, keeps insulting and murdering people across the globe with their allies, who possibly are the very people that are able to pull them out of this slump; I am wondering when they will learn.
Furthermore, the reason that the word “Recession” is usually used by the government is they try to keep down a public panic; that the word “Depression,” usually projects.
