In Qabalan town, near Nablus, Israeli forces kidnapped four members of Hamas. The men were later identified as Fahmi Aza'ar,39, Walid Aza'ar ,22, Firas Aza'ar and Musa Aqra',23.
Qabalan Municipality is considered to be the only Hamas-led municipality in the West Bank.
In Nablus itself, five were kidnapped, with a further man, Sa'ed Saleh, 21, abducted in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
In Qalqilia, also in the northern West Bank, Adham Khadrag was kidnapped after Israeli forces demolished his home.
