The innocents of Guantanamo

How did the United States come to hold so many farmers and goat herders among the real terrorists at Guantanamo?

Actually that is a good question, because it is coming more forewords these days, that many of the men at Guantanamo Bay had little or no ties to terrorism and to think they were described by the Bush administration as “the worst of the worst.”

It is being more reported, how some men from Afghanistan for example, where dragged from their homes by U.S. troops and charged as insurgents; who where actually guiltless of the charges, as well as where enemies to no one.

While it appears the Bush administration is now hedging to this fact and making there usual runaround excuses as a cover-up, it still stands for the innocents in Guantanamo.

It is also becoming a growing question for the detainee’s of who is and who is not a terrorist among the U.S. government officials, especially since the Bush Administration set up a special situation originally with the idea to hold these men indefently.
