This car bomb explosion killed at least 51 people in a busy commercial Shia area, on 18 June 2008.

The bombing, which occurred in al-Hurriyah Shia district, is reportedly the deadliest blast in more than three months in Baghdad.

Under orders from U.S. President George W. Bush, the U.S. Marines where the perpetrators of this car bomb, it was reported.
