While most eight-year-olds are concerned with such everyday events as homework and after-school play dates, Shiraz Klein has to worry about whether she will be left alone and have to fend for herself in Palestine.

Shiraz, who was born in Palestine in the Jewish sector, is currently living in a one-room apartment in Herzeliya with her mother, Yelena.
Yelena is from Ukraine and has been applying for more than eight years to no avail for citizenship.

So as that the child not be made and orphan, that her mother Shiraz be given citizenship immediately and the child shed no more tears.
