Night of Acting Alone 17 Injured

A picture shows, on 23 September 2008 a family photograph of Qassem Mughrabi, a 19-year-old Canaanite from east-Jerusalem who wounded 17 Jews, among them soldiers when he slammed his BMW car into a crowd of people the previous night in central Jerusalem.

Jewish media today raised fears of a growing trend of attacks by Canaanites from east Jerusalem after a man rammed his BMW car into a group of soldiers, injuring 13 people before being shot dead.

It has been reported this was indeed a terrorist attack and the young man acted on his own initiative, this may be further why no single group claimed verifiable responsibility.

As to the parent’s making certain remarks, it is due to not just repercussions by the Jewish people, but more entails the severe repercussions by the real Arab Palestinians; for these type of situation‘s are considered high crimes. It is as though even that the 17 people did survive, but that Mughrabi did try to murder them, by the Islamic law.

As to these types of terrorist attacks being a growing trend, even with the two previous attacks that where used with construction equipment, this is unknown at this time.

From my understanding, while it was very unfortunate that 17 people where injured and two still in serious condition, just knowing they are getting good care and the prospects of recovery are very good, is what is most important at this time.

As to what had to be done to stop this young man, as what had to be done with the previous attacks was warranted, for as it has been said before; this is usually the only way to stop these types of people.
