Bushonomics: American's Find Little Economic Relief in Sight

With little relief in sight, the American people are getting more anxious about the slumping economy and how it affects them.

The share of people who believe the country is moving in the right direction has plunged in just a few weeks, according to a recent poll released today.


Of those found to be in the ever growing unhappiness with the American economy, were one-third of those retired.

The magnitude of the financial meltdown and its impact on the overall economy is hitting people hard across every element of the social and economic spectrum.

The poll showed how financial worries have permeated all corners of American society, with some hit harder than others; but with the every growing consensus that America is in sever troubles and not getting the head above water in sight towards the future.
